At first glance, you could be forgiven to have thoughts of a certain fruit company's tablet. Yes, the Mi Pad bears a striking resemblance to the iPad mini. We think that if the iPad mini and the iPhone 5C is to have a child, the Mi Pad would be the result. Jokes aside, the Mi Pad stands on its own and here are its specs :

During the unveiling, Xiaomi compared the Mi Pad to, you guessed it, the iPad mini with Retina display in various benchmark tests and what were shown was pretty impressive as the Mi Pad outdo the iPad mini in all of the tests with higher performance scores all around.

Xiaomi is synonymous with offering high-end products in low-cost price and the Mi Pad continues that tradition with a delicious price of just around RM770 for the 16GB variant and around RM880 for the 64GB variant. It will come in a multitude of colors including red, yellow, blue, green, black and white.
